  • What is or was your favorite subject in school and why?

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

Creative writing( because found out my over active imagination could be put to use) and art(The teacher made it a lot of fun, it was alright if I messed up, discovered my love of art and have been drawing ever since.).
  • USA vs. Mexico

Just glad we didn't go out with a donut, I got my wish no big fat zero. Final score 1-2. While watching I kept thinking just get on the board, get on the board. Mexico remains dominant on home turf. We're still on the road to the cup, amazingly Mexico needed that game more than we did. But of course you want your team to win regardless. Our first lead against Mexico on Mexico's home turf ever To bad it only lasted 19 mins arrgh...! But still love my team and I'm looking forward to our next match against EL Salvador Sept. 5th. Let's go USA! let's go!

Did anyone else get to watch the game? It came on Telemundo and Mun2(english) Telemundo's sister channel. I thought I wouldn't even get to see it until I found out about mun2. That would have put a dent in our get together, at least there would've been food. later!

  • Did any one ever make plans without your knowledge then get pissed when you don't go?

    Today

I get a call asking if I'm still coming to the cook out. I never said I wanted to go in the first place mind you. Now they are pissed at me because I don't want to go. My hair is not done, I don't really relate to anyone that is going to be there. Last time I went mostly everyone was drinking booze, smoking ciggs/weed and talking about sex while a radio is blasting the oldies.. This is probably a good time for some. Not so much when it's people 11+ yrs. your senior, aunts, uncles, way older friends of the family that you don't really know. I rather I not be present thankyou. I have asthma and don't eat a lot of meat, nothing against it, just don't eat it a lot. (this could be to the fact that I was vegetarian for 2 yrs. while living with a lady friend who didn't eat meat. Suprisingly it wasn' that bad). Why I mention this you ask? picture this your having on and off coughing fits downing bottles of water and clinging to your asthma pump like a life line and the only thing, yes the only thing there you can eat is potatoe salad. You are expected to serve people and fix plates for people to take home. You were invited as a guess but end up serving plates for most of the outing. You are expected  to stay till the end no matter how late so you can help pack up food, clean up and carry tables 9 blocks to your grandma's house before you can go home. I don't mind  but you know sometimes I just want to be a guest. It's not like I can say no to serving it's the rent's asking me to make plates. Can't have grandma starving now can ya.

One time my mom and I arrived to the cookout (last memorial Day)and they had served all the food and didn't even save us a plate, the only thing left was bread, sodas, booze and a half a pan of mac salad.  They told us to be there at three, others got there at one and had at it.

    Yesterday

Someone bought tickets to got to a retirement party for someone I only met once and told me the day of, which was yesterday. They were really angry saying I made them lose out on the ticket money. How about ask me next time; you want to make plans with me involved.

    And my fave

A wedding, I was notified on friday the wedding was saturday.  I would have missed one of my best friends weddings if my other one hadn't called me up. Apparently they had sent an invitation so I couldn't get mad besides I was too happy for them. But this is my fave for last minute things that have happen to me. (in case your wondering the invo did show up a couple of days later with the street name mispelled how they got Stoney from Stanley I'll never know).

Solution that would make me and a lot of other people in similiar situations happy:

Scenario; Call me, send a text, email, facebook me, heck twitter me if you have to. Give me a little heads up people that 's all I ask. I'm tired of being the bad guy here.

Has anyone ever made plans without your knowledge and waited to the last minute to tell you about it? Then curse you out when you have other plans or just plain don't want to go? .

  • Cheap gamer rant, am I being unreasonable?

Another blog on disc care/how u react to other people not taking care of  theirs got me thinking! I keep all my games in their respective cases and try to keep them in a drawer or on the self out of harms way.  I don't take a game out unless it's being inserted into the console. I have to preorder everything and pay on them little by little in order to get the newest releases I want. I can't have people ruining them it's not easy for me to replace them. So once I get them it's like pirates booty, ruin them and on the plank you go. I do not plop down 50's in one go, gaming is treat for me, stress reliever, my reward for taking care of business .

My cute minnion cousins are the worst when it comes to game care they ruined 5 games in one visit, I came home to find the discs on the floor with scratches all over them, looked like they kicked them all around the room to lazy to pick them up. It's the first time I contemplated wringing little necks. Don't worry didn't go through with it, they live to annoy and destroy another day. Your probably thinking why did I leave the minnons alone with my stuff anyway, suck it up.  They weren't there when I left.

I'm suprised at the condition I see some people games in and how they just fling them about. Sometimes, I'm the one putting games away when I play at other people houses or I make a comment now and then like "Where's your case man" or "Where does this go". But hey, if they want to throw their money away and feel like popping another $50 down or whatever to replace them, have at it. But if it's my property then it's a different story, total new ball game. I just think you should respect my property. I imagine if I went into someone's house and started ruining dvd's,cd's and game discs they'd be ready to knock my block off.

    Gaming other:

I didn't get into gaming again until 2000 when my boyfriend at the time introduced me to the the ps2, my first game was tekken 4 I believe and someone ruined it after I moved back to philly from NJ and I was all sad lol that was my first game, how could ya!  Before that the last time I played a game I was little and it was nes. My fave game was contra and I liked anything mario. Mario and the 6 golden coins was the first hand held game I had and that wasn't until 9th grade.

Since then 've been discovering games backwards current games and then the older generation. I got me a nes again a couple of years ago off of ebay it came with 15 games and I just had track me down a copy of Contra (oh the joys of nostalgia). Then I aquired a n64 and sega genesis, sonic, toejam & earl came with it. I used to play sonic at friends houses.

    Back on topic:

What's the first game you can remember playing?  Anyone ever ruined a game disc/cd/dvd of yours? Or a console? a friend broke my first ps2 the bulky one, got ps2slim much later . Weren't you at least a little peeved?

People say I over reacted hey I didn't hit anyone I just demanded that they respect my property and buy me a new one since they broke it. We all went halfsees no one put in over 15 a piece to replace it with a ps2slim.  If a fluke  happened and I broke their stuff I'd replace it. When I get my ps3, I 'm not letting anyone near it, if ya wanna play somethin' I'm putting the disc in, that thing is a bigger chunk out my pocket. Don't breathe on it, Don't hover over it, Don't even look at it funny  Now I am over reacting later!

Fave console's/handhelds; Dsi, Wii, Ps2(until I get ps3). What do you prefer?
